I am currently sitting at the airport in Berlin and, thanks to your help, will be flying to India in 45 minutes. Before I attempt to leave my life behind temporarily, I would like to use this travel time to share my efforts to regain my health with you. What medicines have been effective, and which supplements have made a difference?
When my ordeal began last year, I first consulted my GP and visited the Charité. The indifference towards my descriptions and the unwillingness to assist me were disheartening. I wondered how doctors who had taken an oath could behave this way. I will be happy to provide more details about this later, but today, the focus is on sharing information.
The first step I would recommend is to check your vitamins, especially vitamin B, C, and D. Consider having your blood tested for histamines and inflammation. I recommend the test developed by Dr. Freisleben from Berlin.
What has aided me were visits to an alternative practitioner. She treated me with vitamin infusions, acupuncture, and, I believe, a bioresonance device. However, this naturally comes at a significant cost. The cortisone treatment developed by Dr. Freisleben, coupled with additional H2 histamine blockers, eventually broke my cycle of inflammation. Headaches and a sore throat became less pronounced.
Lastly, I tried two products from the Root brand that also had a positive impact on my health. One is called “Clean Slate,” drops with a cell-cleansing effect, and “Zero-In,” capsules that help with Brain Fog.
Another noteworthy aspect involves my dietary changes. I have been consuming a low-histamine diet as much as possible. Just like the cortisone treatment, I adhered to this strictly for a month and then cautiously reintroduced other products to determine what agrees with me. A low-histamine diet is not sustainable in the long term, and it certainly doesn’t bring joy.
In general, turmeric, quercetin, and bitter melon capsules may also be beneficial. I have primarily ordered from the company Sunday Naturals.
And please, try to minimize stress. Resisting it won’t help. It is better to accept things, but of course, without giving up. For me, Joe Dispenza’s meditation, “Manifest your dreams,” and light yoga have been helpful in this regard.
These tips are the result of my year-long quest for healing. However, it should be noted, dear friends, that while these approaches have helped me improve my quality of life, they have not yet enabled me to return to work, let alone restart my other projects. Nonetheless, I am immensely grateful for every small step that contributes to my well-being.
Feel free to ask me questions, though I may only be able to respond once a week during my Ayurveda retreat. My past year has been incredibly complex, and I already sense, at the beginning of my healing journey, that I have not given, and often could not give, space to many feelings and thoughts due to my limited strength. It will take time to truly find peace.
